I think we should have a contest from now until the end of the season (may only be a week or two) post a pic of Mohawk's, GoPros, Backpacks and Ridiculous Risers. Person with the highest bars ON A SLED wins.

The Gopro is the new Mohawk..When I rode Polaris I used a backpack for tools and parts. My back couldn't take it anymore so I bought a DOO.

He must not have done the mandatory 500 mile piston replacement. I think that's the standard ski do break-in procedure.:p

I'm 6'4, and rock an 8" riser because it's comfortable.

My backpack contains a tampon for phantom, a pacifier for OJ, and hemmorhoid cream for the rest of your crew, along with an extra pair of gloves, some trail snacks, bottles of water, fuel treatment, and other assorted stuff, just in case.

Hope you never need help from me, because I'll flag down a mohawk, borrow his shovel, and bury you with it.

Stop *****ing online and do something about it.

Have a nice day. Be safe. Enjoy. Enjoy.

Woodsrider - bahahahaha - good for you. I never understood why this board has so many issues with tall risers, riders w/ backpacks, and riders that stand up. Maybe it's an age thing? I dunno.

Yea, and then they wonder why it's a bunch of geriatrics at club meetings and no younger people want to join or help..I'm sure us backpackers will help carry your new/unused depends into the woods for you. You're on your own hauling them back out..:p

Oh wait, you can probably keep them in the suitcases you guys have attached to the sides of your sleds for your 40mi trip..

My risers are stock and I don't wear a backpack, (although I have a tunnel bag as I can go 300-400mi in a day) BUT I do wear a GOPRO and definitely take offense to the thought that it creates trouble. COME ON!!! Grow UP you condescending tools. My GOPRO captured my 14yo daughters first solo snowmobile ride and it was an awesome experience and day!!! I guess you'll never appreciate something like that experience because you guys probably treat your families like you treat the folks on these forums!

Well put woodsrider!

Sunday I was behind a 19 year old with a back pack. And it had lopers, sledge hammer, cordless drill, etc, to continue trail work. Your perceptions are not always as brilliant as you think they are.

Topic of discussion at their next club meeting is if these new fangled full face helmets are just a fad or the wave of the future.

Funny how a lot of guys on here check out what other guys wear and have a definitive opinion if it looks good. Does anybody know if NYSSA has a statistic on how many metrosexual are out on the trails?

There's only 2 things they keep track of: Their bank account and how many members they have. They don't return emails, they obviously don't push very hard for change, and we know they don't ask their membership what they want.

A few snowmobilers were happy that I had a backpack with extra spark plugs in it. That I have given to them. You old farts are really against people wearing backpacks? Wow. Get a life.

Get a life. my sled came with spare plug holders and a wrench; I also have a trunk for storage; oil; safety tape first aid kit and then some; I see the diaper bag as being cute but not as cute as my Mohawk!:D

It's funny because you actually have to wear diapers and need a diaper bag the most.
