We finally have enough snow in St. Johnsbury to allow us to groom the trail to the Comfort Inn.
St. Johnsbury is always the last area to get decent snow cover, however, just after you leave town in any direction you immediately get into very good riding.
The first mile from the Comfort Inn is still a little scratchy but very passable, then you get on the rail trail which is far better now that the rails and ties have been removed.
There are several very good restaurants within 10 miles or nearer that are on the trails, Vinny's on Corridor 5F2 , Goodfellows on Corridor 2C ( The rail trail) or the Creamery in Danville just off the trail in back of Martys 1st stop in Danville.
Finally it looks like a typical winter weekend up here in the Northeast Kingdom, all trails have been freshly groomed or are being groomed tonight, as the sled traffic is quite heavy.
It looks like next week will remain cold with a chance of a storm (which I will not believe until I see it )
This will very likely set us up for good riding over Presidents Weekend. :)
