    Default March storm

Board is awful quiet considering that a foot or more snow is predicted everywhere in NY within the next 48 hours.

I think the new way (past 10 years or so) to report on "predicted snowfall amount" is to determine the absolute MAXIMUM amount of snow that could possibly fall under the most extreme conditions (no way any more snow than that could fall) and report that. Back off a few inches and make that the lower amount. From X to Y inches. That way they can never be accused of not warning the public in case it happens. Also, the higher amount will only accumulate in certain select areas. So the vast majority of the region see's a lot less but maybe one small area got the higher amount. But - leave that detail out, just make it sound like the higher amount everywhere because technically they dont know where that could fall, could be anywhere!

I expect a few inches here not the 18" I just saw on tv.

However, I did just gas up with No Ethanol from Fastrac

If we do get snow - good luck figuring out what trails are open (until it all melts).

well I just put the damper on the snow down around my area; I went out and put the plow on! if I idn't put it on we would get 2 ft ! lake effect usually follows any storm activity and the ground is frozen.what trails would be open; I don't know! I'm betting on wnona seasonal roads some clubs pulled signs already! no we didn't on pbsc; did see trail closed on the web site. I guess enjoy where you can legally!

My last ride is on the perfectly groomed streets. I plan on bombing around the neighborhood given we get the snow called for. They closed my work already for tomorrow so hopefully I can get some city/town riding in. Lets get this state of emergency going! I will have them valet my sled at this new casino in Schenectady hope they got a helmet rack for my gear.

Clubs pulling out this early would be rediculous, there was a big storm last year around this same time.
