Default The hits keep on coming

The Georgetown Inn in Southern Madison County and the Brackel Bar & Grille in NW Chenango County have both shuttered their doors until new owners are found. Health, help and the awesome NYS economy issues have weighed heavily in these closures.
On a better note a new place opened up in East McDonough as Autumn Meadows opens up just off C-7.
Don't worry things are gonna get better as Cuomo continues to pour our tax dollars into Puerto Rico so it has to help upstate out.

Default On a much bigger scale...

    Tom Petty is dead.

    The tragedy in Vegas.

    Awful day.
Despite what you read on this site, we are in the Golden Age of Snowmobiling.
Our trails are in good to excellent condition 90% + of the time.
Our clubs are, for the most part, well-run by dedicated volunteers and leadership.
Grooming is pretty consistent across the State.
Your sled is likely the most comfortable, reliable and fuel efficient snowmobile you've ever owned.

Apparently Tom Petty is still on life support. He just won’t-back-down. 😃

So true days like this show us all there are a lot more important things then the stuff we all ***** about from time to time. Pray for those who lost loved ones in Las Vegas.

Sad to say but there are 20k plus that know how our men and women that are in the service and serving in combat feel daily and asking, where are those shots coming from?

    Default Bad couple months ...

Kinda makes you wish it was winter & you could gear up and drive off into the woods in a freezing cold blinding blizzard for a few hours or a week....

And now I read the Newcomb House has closed leaving a huge gap between Indian Lake and Long Lake. Looks like our governors big plans for the Essex Chain isn't going along as planned as the article shows no one is usuing it.

Another step closer to Bob Marshall's dream.

The states inability to get a trail built from Minerva to Newcomb certainly did not help. This would open up access from Warrensburg, Schroon Lake, Ticonderoga and places in between. The pending lawsuit has been ongoing for over 4 years, a trial was actually started in March of this year but thus far no decision from the judge. The state of snowmobiling in the Adirondacks is going backwards...it seems more places go away each year.
