Default TC Riders Trail report 1/3/18

Left FloHo @ 10:30. One of our groomers had just done Houlahan Rd up the CCC Rd to County Line. Smooth sweetness with those Trail Paver drags!
Then the C4J to the Osceola Outpost for food. Back tracked down County Line to Sullivan Rd (C4I to C4 and back on the C4I again)Up around to the Wolcott Hill trail and ran into the groomer again just south of the Johnny Smith Pond. Again with the sweetness! Back to FloHo by 4pm. A slow 50-miles today. Everything was either just groomed or still in good shape. A little thin with a few rocks on both the Taberg connector and C4I. All ridable, just thin. And some ice here & there in the thin areas. Maybe 30-sleds all day, mostly at stops.

    Houlahan Rd.

    Default 1-8-17 civilized ride Florance-Camden-Redfield-Taberg

Same ride as above with a run up to Redfield for gas. 4+" of new snow. Broke some trail, but mostly followed 1-2 new sled tracks. Very nice trails again. Another fun day of 60-miles. Started in heavy snow at 10:30, which stopped as we hit 46-corners. Ran into Taberg's Tucker out making nice ribbons to ride, as they pulled off from Dingle Street.
Saw about 30-sleds all day. Most at Florance Hotel. Saw only 8-sleds on trails. Everyone was civilized and slowed as they approached. And all stayed right. The way sleddin' should be! The C4K north of the FloHo thru Graves Rd was begining to develop small bumps. But Redfield had groomed down to the Graves Rd bridge where they meet TC Riders.

    Taberg out making nice.

    Default 1/21 update

    From their Facebook page:

    TC Riders Snowmobile Club Inc
Yesterday at 5:16am New York, NY
Trail Update 21 Jan 2018 . . A Lot of Traffic on Saturday....From the Power Lines or Groomer Barn North through 46 Corners, our trail system was groomed last night and it may be the last for a couple of days until the temperatures drop below freezing. Starting to get thin in a few spots. . . . Let's all do the Snow Dance and hope we don't get much rain.
Best to Park at Hanifin Road or the Florence Hotel and Ride North for the time being. Riding from the Village of Camden Is ride-able today..Sunday Jan 21st, but after the rain and thaw this week we will need some Cold temps and possibly fresh snow from the village of Camden area North for good riding.
