    Default 1/7/17 Ride Report

Should say 1/7/18, Left from 46 corners and it was -12F. TC Riders trails like always smooth. North to swancott mills and out camp 4 road was smooth with little bumps in the corners. North south road and old RR bed to tabolt corners was smooth. From tabolt to milk house road it was bumpy. Burdick's Crossing to Brantingham was good. Out confusion flats were first tracks on freshly groomed trail to partridgeville road. Partridgeville road to stillwater was smooth. crossed stillwater to 6 mile road. Norridgewock for lunch. Back out 6 mile road and this time went long way out on stillwater. few slushy spots. I think today there going to put the trees out. Went back the same way to Brantingham and it was still smooth. Brantingham snomads had one groomer out going to Lyons falls and another was one just going out. From Brantingham to lyons falls was smooth. turned by the edge and up big hill was good. little bumpy but not to bad. went up backside to timberview and that was very bumpy. then back same way out tabolt to north south. Freshly groomed camp 4 road. Passed one groomer and looked like it was getting pile of snow to fill in one of bridges to make it smoother to cross. 180 miles.

Looks great! Always look forward to your trail reports! Do you think the valley area trails from the Edge to B-ham will hold up this week for the weekend? With the potential rain threat? Trying to decide to just come up or cancel reservations at the Edge.

Top of the hill should be fine, lower areas might not be.

Default Frigid temps = great trails

Man, look at those trails...amazing what cold temps can do for maintaining a groomed surface...
Despite what you read on this site, we are in the Golden Age of Snowmobiling.
Our trails are in good to excellent condition 90% + of the time.
Our clubs are, for the most part, well-run by dedicated volunteers and leadership.
Grooming is pretty consistent across the State.
Your sled is likely the most comfortable, reliable and fuel efficient snowmobile you've ever owned.
