Thread: Trail Conditions on and around the Hill

  1. #1

Default Trail Conditions on and around the Hill

Due to the serious flooding clubs are asking that we stay off the trails until they are able to get out and assess them. A few clubs have closed trails. Flooding, bridge damage and downed trees are expected. Please help by staying off the trails or by offering to help a club.

Check your club's FB page or website for updates.

The high temperature is supposed to be 6 in Redfield tomorrow I would love to hear the reasoning why people riding on an ice base with fresh snow on top will be ruining anything.

Yes it is 6 degrees this morning. And it is snowing. But there is no ice base, more likely slush that has not frozen solid yet. Or maybe there is until you get to a low spot, then there is a foot of water. It does not freeze instantly especially if it is moving. The local trail maintenance volunteers have their hands full dealing with problems in their homes, businesses, and communities. Snowmobile trails are not the first priority.

    But But But...
We spent all this money on snowmobiles, Cans, Flashy Clothing, Backpacks and Mohawks for our helmets and we want to ride! This is not fair.... Waa Waa Waa.

We want to come up and hear our cans sing!

Im from jersey. I dont have a “can” or back pack im bold so no mohawk or fancy clothes. A lot of you guys think this sport and place is just for you guys. We only get a couple weeks to ride and we all spent a lot of money to do it. So i wish all you that complain about the “base” would all shut the ?$&@ up and just thank the clubs and ride fo crying out loud
