Sounds like you had a very nice enjoyable ride.
    Except for the gas.
Just changed a friends 03 Rev 600 leaking fuel line.
    Sled has 7-8+K miles.
The line that connects from fuel pump to male connector plastic piece into the grommet at the tank.
Those older and even some newer sleds are known for bad tank grommets.
Thought it was the grommet at first but it was a couple splits in the line.
Capraras had 7 grommets in stock.

Edit-Open rt side panel and at bottom corner of gas tank you will see fuel line and grommet.

    sorry for off subject here
BUT many older sleds, the fuel lines are NOT compatible with ethanol fuel, it makes the lines HARD and they split!
and some NEW fuel lines are also NOT ethanol approved too
I only know of the yellow Tygon line being able to live long with ethanol fuel and is approved for it!
seen many of the BLUE lines shops sell fail in a few yrs
modern gas has many issue's we never had to deal with YRS ago!

I appreciate that. It’s been in the shop twice, once this year for rewind & last yr I had Carl Rock’s look it overr because if the dwindling mileage. I’ll look at the fuel line. I’ve never smelled gas leaking.

Hey OKO is that sled carbed?
If so your issue are the needle and seats in the carbs, they wear, I had the same issue and it doubled the mileage when I changed them!

Yes. Not too far from the turn towards the Gathering Place. Only those two groomer stopping monsters. There are remnants of similar trees being cut up recently nearby.

Yes it is carbed. I will have that sled into Carl Rocks' to check on that. (After I get me a newer sled though)
This ol' '03 will be my backup if I can pull off buying a newer machine.
