Default 3/5/18 Pompey, Fabius, Cuyler, DeRuyter, Tog. , Pompey

Left the driveway at 2:30 and headed up the trail 6.5 mi. to Pompey. Picked up C5D at Colton Rd and headed for the Pompey Mall.Grooming started here. Plenty of snow so far. Took C5D to rte 80 and then to Morgan Hill. Snow near Fabius was thin. Morgan Hill had plenty of snow and grooming held up good. The Jeep that followed the groomer Sat. didn't even rut it up bad at all. Took S51D towards Cuyler because Truxton had not groomed. Once down in Cuyler things started to get ugly. took C5C to DeRuyter and it got worse. Got gas in DeRuyter and took C5E to Highland Forrest And Tog. Once up out of DeRuyter snow got better. Don't go anywhere near DeRuyter. First 1/2 mile of Highland was ugly but got much better. Down near Tog. wasn't too bad but over thru Fabius was thin with lots of bare ground. No serious mud holes except leaving DeRuyter. Bridge is half gone after you cross Rte 91 so you either blast the stream or maneveur the pallets. Back up towards Pompey snow got better. Back home at 6PM. 60 miles no trailering. Saw 4 sleds the whole time. Going to need more snow.

Nice report, we fixed the ruts from the jeep on the return trip. The bridge is all there but the creeek has changed course, there is a reroute planned to eliminate that creek crossing but we just plain ran out of time this fall, hopefully we get to it for next season, the pallets were the only quick way to make it somewhat dooable.
