Thread: Stillwater to Charlies via tracks?

Default Stillwater to Charlies via tracks?

Anyone know if tracks got enough cover from this storm to do this trip this Saturday? This is usually the time of year we do it. Thanks

    Default March sun

I have no idea what the conditions of the tracks are, but the March sun must be doing a number on any rails covered by snow.
Despite what you read on this site, we are in the Golden Age of Snowmobiling.
Our trails are in good to excellent condition 90% + of the time.
Our clubs are, for the most part, well-run by dedicated volunteers and leadership.
Grooming is pretty consistent across the State.
Your sled is likely the most comfortable, reliable and fuel efficient snowmobile you've ever owned.

Friday I rode from the access trail north of Beaver River Station down to Thendara and it was all good. More snow north than south so it ought to be good going north.

We did 456 miles yesterday! From Williamstown all the way to past malone and back. All i care about is snow cover and tracks had good cover. Yes there was ungroomed sections but i don't mind as lond as my skies are not catching on rail bolts
