Default THA South of the Thruway Report 1-16-09

Dropped at the Nice and Easy in Tully and rode over to Fabius, through Highland forest to DeRuyter over to Truxton into Little York, down to Homer, back to Truxton, up to Labrador Mountain for Lunch and the return to Tully via Morgan Hill Forest.

107 miles of Great trails everywhere...Truxton Trail Riders and Seven Valley Snow Goers were out grooming and it was obvious Lafayette Trail Riders was out last night.

The Seven Valley's Tucker got stuck last night due to gelled up diesel...it was running on our return trip.

Close but not quite. We did the East McDonoungh, Cincy, DeRuyter, Truxton, Solon, Cincy , East Pharsalia loop today 110 miles with a lunch stop in 4.5 hrs. No traffic, super smooth hard trails and a little off trail to boot.

Today was a top ten conditions day in my book.

    Default Connections!

We are very close to a connector between the Lafayette system and our trails. This will be a club trail this year but we will apply to get it on the corridor trail system next year.

From the Lafayette S53 in the Oran area, you will be able to head northeast up into Madison County. Much of the trail is already signed, and locals have been using it for years. We will connecy Lafayette to Chittenango to Tri-Valley, West Rome Riders, TC Riders, Taberg, and STH!

Geeez how were the Twin Bridges Trails? My niece and nephew are part of that club; haven't ridden there!

From DeRuyter you were a short hop away from our trails-
