Default Munising Area

So far so good as to conditions. For some reason the trails were in poor shape last week which I am guessing was done by poor grooming but the weekend was good. Still lots of snow but we'll see what happens with the rain tomorrow.

Default Munising update

We made it through with all the bad weather a lil scathed. Grooming never stopped and traffic has picked up 10 fold. Getting snow almost daily although not much, just enough to work with. Storm coming in on Wednesday. Trail conditions are ranging from good to excellent! www.terracemotel.net/

Default Past Weekend

Trails were awesome thru Thursday then Friday everyone complained. Not sure why they became so horrid but everywhere they went they were in poor grooming shape. Then Saturday the operators redeemed themselves and now on Sunday they are awesome once again. Under another warning for 6-9" tonight and snow everyday for the next week. Between here and Harvey there has been 18+ inches in the last 24 hours. M-28 closed again.

Default Munising Update

With the warm up streets are getting bare. About 50% right now but the temp is supposed to rise to 40ish today. Could be completely bare by the end of today. Trails are still in great condition until saturdays. Too much pressure out to the east of here but the south and west hold up better on the weekend. Calling for snow on sunday and colder temps next week. Base is still very good! Next weekend should not be a problem! Thank You! Terrace Motel

Default Last good ride before trailering?

Trails were terrible since Saturday but they finally have all been groomed. Heard the new groomer was down but there is supposed to be two anyways. Plenty of snow on trials and in woods but the streets are bare. Warm up coming so this might be the last good weekend before you have to trailer to the plains.www.terracemotel.net/

Default Any snow left to ride the plains?

Thinking of heading up there maybe this weekend or next. Looks like there is snow in the forecast till then. Any word on if its rideable I assume I'd have to drop a trailer at the plains.
